About Our Auctioneer… Leah June Gioia

It all started when…

Leah Gioia was hired as a secretary at Pensacola’s own Garth’s Antiques & Auction Gallery in the Fall of 2016. Over the several years to follow, and under the tutelage of the late Winston Garth & Robert Garth, it took no time for Leah to fall in love with Auctions.

In the summer of 2019, Leah proudly received her designation as Honorary Colonel - Auctioneer, as well as her Ring Master Certification from the Florida Auctioneer Academy. She was honored to be instructed by Gary Smith - a legend with true heritage in the Auction industry. She was also mentored by other noted individuals; such as Keith Trowbridge, Heath Ogle & Chris Bohr.

Leah is presently located in Pensacola, FL and actively assisting surrounding areas of the Gulf Coast. Leah is a proud member of the FAA & the NAA. Leah is committed to a higher standard of excellence and passionate about actively increasing public awareness of Auctioneering, how the extensive efforts of the Florida Auctioneer’s Association(FAA) impact all Florida Residents, and how Auctions play a vital role in our society’s economy.

We are excited to announce….

On October 18th, 2020 Leah Gioia was sworn into the Florida Auctioneer’s Association Board of Directors.

In the years since, Leah and her company have assisted the Gulf Coast with countless online/live auction events, and hosted several Benefit Auctions in support of the local school districts and charities of choice.

In January of 2022, Leah had the privilege of representing the Florida Auctioneers Association at the DBPR Board of Auctioneers meeting. She was also able to once more support the annual Day on the Hill, along with other board directors of the FAA. This was a unique opportunity to recieve first-hand input as to how to further protect FL residents from the probable consequences of deregulation in the Auction industry.

On January 9th, 2023 - Leah was voted back onto the Florida Auctioneer's Association Board of Directors for another 2 year seat.

Competitive Auction Chant Record:

August of 2021 - Leah placed 3rd in the Florida State Bidcalling Championship held in Daytona Beach, FL.

(2022 Florida Conference & Show canceled due to Hurricane Ian landfall)

On January 8th, 2023 - Leah won Rookie of the Year for the Florida State Bidcall Championship, taking home the 2023 Medal from the Rookie Division competition held in Tampa, FL.
